Whenever we are in the heat of any editorial shoot, it is always an exciting challenge to achieve that “purr-fect” symbiosis between the model and furbaby. In that moment- when the synergy begins to shine- anything is possible. Every time camerateur Jessica Metni ( the founder of Hermust) gets on set she makes magic happen time and time again. “We wanted to portray a more high fashion editorial; something that is new to the pet industry. Something refreshing and worth celebrating”, says Michelle Boyer, founder of MP.

THE MYSTERY BEHIND THE FELINE ROYALE

As any kitty kat owner would know, their furry loves typically think bath time is overrated, and feel that they are simply too Royale for any bath time ritual. Moroccan Pooch Furcare is introducing a game-changer. The regal treatment is all about experiencing the best of the best, and, in this case, it’s our new leave-in treatment. Clearly these furry royal rebels have yet to encounter the magical powers of our argan-infused miracle worker.

SOME ADVICE FOR US NON-ROYAL FOLK

If your feline enjoys being brushed or combed, then we encourage you to do so. Although we are only their simple loving servants, baths stimulate the skin; and also remove any unnecessary oils, dander, and shedding fur. Grooming your cat can serve to strengthen the bond between servant and royalty, and you may be up for a serious promotion full of cuddles and kisses! It also offers an opportunity to show and teach your cat that being handled with care is not a thing to be scared of.

Bathing too often is not suggested and can cause their skin to become overly dry and sensitive. A simple rule of “paw” is to only bathe shorthairs every six weeks and especially in high shedding seasons. With longhaired cats, they can be pampered more frequently. Kittens new to the royal realm should only be bathed only after their first month; and for elderly cats or cats who’s health has been compromised, it is best to seek out recommendations for your veterinarian.

SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE TENDENCIES

Due to our feline’s exceptional self-grooming techniques, bath time doesn’t seem to come as easily. Bath time is not only beneficial for the health of the fur coat, but it can also help you screen your furbaby for any problems that may be developing on their skin. To keep their fur in check, we’ve created have designed the purr-fect leave- in treatment which does not require any water at all! Our leave-in can be applied to a damp or dry coat. It helps with de-matting fur, hairballs, and helps to reduce excessive shedding.

THAT FUR GLOW

Keira (@keirathecatofficial) is featured in the image above, and was rescued here in Montreal, Qc. Keira's early days were unhappy as she was left in a cage and on a milk & bread diet. As you can imagine, when Keira first came home the condition of her fur was terrible. She had a coarse, dry coat, with mats accompanied by a soiled smell. Because we needed to clean her, we began using the Moroccan Pooch Leave-in Treatment-which does not require any water or rinsing. Even after the first application Keira was left with a clean smell and a much softer coat. We were able to brush her with the treatment to make removing the mats less painful. Just a few months after using only the Leave-in, Keira was modeling in high end editorials. Her fur is silky soft and super shiny and healthy.
